12-year-old steals credit card, flies to Bali after fighting Mama

PERTH, Australia – A 12-year-old Australian boy has done a bold feat making international headlines: he stole his mother's credit card and made it to Bali Indonesia, for a posh, four-day vacation before he was caught, reports 9 News.

As reported in the Australian program A Current Affair the boy researched online and found that he could fly alone without needing a letter from a parent on Jetstar Airways.

He grabbed his mother's credit card, cheated on his grandmother to give him his passport, took a train to the airport and flew to Bali. "They just asked for my student ID and passport to prove that I'm over 1

2 years old and in secondary school," says the boy, who is identified only as a Drew.

He then checked into a four-star hotel. He had reserved in advance and told the writer that his older sister was about to follow him by stuff.co.n. And there he stayed, had a good time, while his panicked mother reported him missing as home.

It was not until the boy in the hotel pool released a video of himself that his holiday was finally over.

"I was shocked and disgusted, there is no emotion to feel what we felt when we found out that he would do it" I'm overseas, "says Mom, via news.com.au

a Reason why she typed: Her son had already tried this trick twice, only to be dismissed at the airport of Qantas and Garuda Airlines informed that her son's passport would be marked as such by the federal authorities, which apparently never happened

In the aftermath, Jetstar promises to tighten its policy.

"He just does not like the word no, and that's what I got, a kid in Indonesia."
