Two police officers were shot dead on 2 Ashley Drive in Falmouth, Massachusetts, after they responded to a trouble call.
One officer was shot twice in his vest, with one round just above the waistcoat. A second officer was dug in the back of the head.
Suspect was "shot several times" during the incident and transported to Beth Israel-Plymouth before being taken to Brigham.

The police department received a call Friday at 5:25 pm for someone breaking glass on the road near 2 Ashley Drive in East Falmouth.
Falmouth Police Chief Edward Dunne says police patrolmen Ryan Moore and Donald DeMiranda responded and engaged the suspect, whom the state police call Malik Antonio Koval
Dunne, when Koval was aroused, got a gun out of the house and started shooting at the officers.

Chief Dunne would not say on Friday night whether the police force would collide with Koval before the shootout on Friday.
The state police say that both Moore and DeMiranda will survive.
Russell Rezendes, a family member of DeMiranda , says of his cousin: "I just hoped he was alive. They say he's fine. "It's a shame how it went."
Chief Dunne shared this with Moore and DeMiranda, one of the officers is single and has been with the police for a little over five years. The other officer is married, has three children, and has been in the troupe for less than five years.
Dunne says he is extremely grateful that his two officers will be fine.
