Toyota recalls 1,730 Camry sedans in the US for larger pistons in their engines.
According to the Japanese automaker, the engines of the affected vehicle could have pistons that are larger in diameter than the original specification. The assembly error could cause the sedans to become rougher, produce smoke, and produce an abnormal sound. In addition, the owners receive warning lights on the dashboard and a possible reduction in performance. In extreme cases, the Camry could stop and increase the risk of an accident.
