The truck manufacturer announced on Friday that the 2019 Silverado, when properly equipped for towing, will tow up to 12,200 lbs with a 6.2-liter V-8 and 10-speed gearbox. The 5.3-liter V-8 and 8-speed combo should manage up to 11,600 pounds (11,000 pounds with a 6-speed), and the Turbo 4 should reach 7,200 pounds when it goes on sale.
