2019 NHL Dealing Dead: Reaction to every deal, including Mark Stone to Vegas and Wayne Simmonds, Predators



The NHL's trading term is over and there are many faces moving to new places. The Columbus Blue Jackets were the most active team in the days leading up to the deadline and made a series of trades before the close of Monday – including the acquisition of Matt Duchene and Ryan Dzingel of the Ottawa Senators.

But the biggest splash of the deadline day brought another senator forward and came just minutes before 3pm. Deadline. The Vegas Golden Knights managed to win the biggest prize of the day when they landed [1

964-600] Mark Stone of Ottawa in return for a package containing the top prospect Erik Brannstrom. The move made Vegas one of the biggest winners of the day .

The biggest name that did not end on the deadline was Artemi Panarin, the elite winger who was allegedly hanged in Columbus for his expiring contract. It seems that the Blue Jackets were ready to seize the opportunity to lose it in vain to go all-in this year.
