2019 WWE Stomping Grounds Results: Live Updates, Review, Ratings, Games, Map, Start Time, Highlights

The threat of Brock Lesnar's money in the bank agreement continues to threaten to bring large numbers of WWE storylines into the pay-per-view issue of Smashing Grounds, which was launched on Sunday in Tacoma, Washington. Seth Rollins will defend his universal championship against Baron Corbin in the main event of the card. The catch is that Corbin does not yet have to announce a special guest umpire Rollins has not attacked and removed. The constant threat that Lesnar is shopping should be part of the perspective before the end of the show.

A total of seven title fights fill the card with nine games, including a rematch of WWE champions Kofi Kingston and Dolph Zigger in a steel cage. For the women, Raw champion Becky Lynch plays again against Lacey Evans, while SmackDown champion Bayley resumes hostilities with Alexa Bliss.

CBS Sports will accompany you throughout Sunday and update this story with live scores and highlights as well as a detailed summary and scores at the end of the post . 2019 WWE Stomping Grounds Review, Grades [19659014] Cruiserweight Championship – Drew Gulak defeated. Akira Tozawa (via pinfall) and Tony Nese (c) win the title : Hot friggin & # 39; fire. The in-ring chemistry between the three performers was stunning, as the soaring and stiff style of Nese and Tozawa fit in perfectly with Gulak's power play to produce an exciting spotfest with a handful of well-timed parades. The tempo was off the charts, and the highlights were highly memorable, including a Tozawa Senton from the top rope that broke Gulak's bid for Nese. The goal came after Nese was sent out of the ring and Gulak landed a thief with a torture rod for the 1-2-3 on Tozawa. May the beginning of the era of power begin. Grade: A-

Raw Women's Championship – Becky Lynch (c) v Lacey Evans on submission for obtaining the title: The first major list The feud for Evans seems to have come to an end after a second defeat in a row. While the "you can not wrestle" songs from the crowd were certainly too hard, Evans has proven that she still has plenty to grow in the ring to equate to her sensational work on the microphone. Lynch did well to wear the duo in this match, working consistently from below. Evans wiped his handkerchief with a handkerchief and tossed it to Lynch at a point that turned out to be a turning point when Lynch thrust Evans in the neck to start her comeback with a jaw claw. After Evans had been about to crash, Lynch used her Dis Arm Submission to trigger the instant faucet. Grade: C

Paul Heyman meets with Baron Corbin: When Heyman was caught backstage from Corbin's locker room, he refused to admit why he was talking to Corbin , Instead, he distracted, noting that Brock Lesnar may or may not be present, possibly cashing money against the World or WWE champion tonight or not. This caused Corbin to come out and drop a sexual intimation before saying that he had already selected his referee, who would be competent and disfavor him in the match. "If you hang around in my dressing room, I think you're more than just here for an interview," he joked.
