The authorities in northern Wisconsin tell the three people on the crash of a medical helicopter the members of the flight crew died.
Oneida County sheriff's deputy head of homeland security, Dan Hess, said the wreck was found early Friday. He says there were no patients aboard the Ascension Health Spirit helicopter when it collapsed in Hazelhurst, a small town about 240 kilometers northwest of Green Bay.
A search was started after the helicopter was missing late Thursday evening.

The last contact with the helicopter was Thursday night. The Oneida County Sheriff's Office said Friday that the helicopter was later dumped in Hazelhurst, a small town about 240 kilometers northwest of Green Bay.
The agency did not disclose details of the accident, including the number of people on board or their conditions, but found that one of the agencies that responded was the local medical examiner.
Sheriff's office directed questions from the Associated Press on Ascension Health, which did not respond immediately to calls and emails on Friday morning. The authorities say that the last known contact with the helicopter was at 10:55 pm Thursday. The dispatchers received a call that the chopper was missing 25 minutes later. At least eight agencies were involved in the search.
