Fortnite rocket launch brought a mysterious portal into the center of Lonely Lodge and gave credibility to the recent announcements of @FNBRLeaks and @GameCentralFBR . It looks like Fortnite Season 5 may contain locations based on the Wild West and other historical periods.
The most obvious evidence of Wild West material is data that can be found in a dusty, old drawing room like a rustic roasting fire, a West inspired door frame and the kind of card table. Especially given the portal that sits right in front of the lodge, it's not too crazy to think that the area could gradually turn into something that is straight out of Westworld .
This concept becomes even more plausible when you look at moments from the recently released Playground Fashion Trailer. Character models can wear cowboy hats, and there is also a quick look at a pyramid that could have a place in ancient Egypt. In view of this, it is possible that some of the places mentioned will soon take us back to different epochs.
Beyond the story, there were additional leaks this afternoon showing data links pointing to a mall and bookstore called McGuffin. We're not sure if this is something that's being built on Dusty Divot, or if it could be pinned to a more developed place like Tilted Towers, but the benefits are a strong indication that we'll see something like that in the future.

As with all leaks, it is important to remember that all analyzes of this unfinished files should be taken with a grain of salt. Just because we see some assets that seem to have a Western theme does not guarantee, for example, that most of Season 5 revolves around this small collection of items. These datamined files exist and are edited by developers at Epic, but that does not necessarily mean that they invade the final game.
* LEAK * The time travelers will bring us back to the past!

Fortnite Rocket launched on schedule this afternoon, causing a huge rift of the skies in the game, before he falls on Anarchy Acres. The portal in front of the Lonely Lodge was discovered about an hour later and not explained. With that said, we've written a few theories about what these new developments mean. Regardless of whether this points to the truth or not, we were never curious to know what Fortnite Season 5 is about.
Fortnite is in early access to PS4, Xbox One, Switch, PC and iOS. Season 5 is expected to begin on July 12 at 4:00 EDT.
