Saturday Night Live adds three new faces to its cast.
Chloe Fineman, Shane Gillis and Bowen Yang will be present as featured players in Season 45 of the series. They come on board after Leslie Jones leaves the show after five years to focus on upcoming film projects and a Netflix comedy special.
Fineman is a Groundlings veteran in LA and was a New Face only for the Laughs Festival in Montreal in 2018. On Instagram, she will include impressions of Game of Thrones star Maisie Williams, presidential candidate Marianne Williamson and Jojo Siwa. She has appeared at Jane the Virgin (1
Yang joined SNL as an author last season and will be the first full-time Asian-American cast member in the series. He is also a co-organizer of the podcasts Las Culturistas . He appeared in the last season as Kim Jong-Un in a sketch with Sandra Oh.
Jones is at the moment the only departure from the cast of SNL . Emmy winner Kate McKinnon has signed a new contract and the rest of Season 44 remains intact.
