& # 39; The Masked Singer & # 39; Recap Season 2, Episode 7: The most shocking elimination yet

That's it. Officially, there is no one in "The Masked Singer" who can not carry a tune, which makes these assumptions infinitely more difficult.

Fox has done a great job improving the operation and making things more challenging for the home audience to see who's behind those masks. Five more of them came on stage this week and it was a real shock when the repressed celebrity was exposed.

Even more shocking was the addition of Triumph, the insulting comic book dog, but even he was drawn into the show's craziness and in the end offered real guesses … as he did not kill Ken Jeong on every occasion.

We hope for more big surprises like this on the way. Let's just say, we have learned not to trust anything we hear on this show except this singing voice. Accents, body language, anything can be faked.

Tonight the weakest performer is fed up, but we'll be surprised by the terrible (and occasionally good) speculations of our illustrious body of Robin Thicke Jenny McCarthy Ken Jeong and Nicole Scherzinger first. We do this because we love to torture you.

FOX

Fox is a real stage artist and a true professional. Is he a professional singer? If not, he hid a damn great talent, which is why Jamie Foxx is thrown around again and again. This was another successful performance with a lot of confidence, though nothing special this week.

Guesses: Look, the evidence this week spoke of a 30-year career – and this guy did the splits! – as well as that he was part of a pack, but we think that the clues of the boy group are a misguidance. What if he is part of the "In Living Color" package or even a Wayans brother?

He said earlier that he did his best work late at night, and the fox could be an allusion to his network. Could Keenan Ivory Wayans still do the splits? After his sketch show went up in the air, he hosted his own late-night talk show. Nevertheless, Robin stayed with AJ McLean, while Nicole stood by her Jamie Foxx conjecture. His hint was a boombox and further references to a group. Ken actually had a solid guess with Boyz II's Shawn Stockman, but we like our wildcard guess. Meanwhile, a new front-runner has surfaced online.

LADYBUG

Ladybug

grows more and more with each performance. This is easily her most sophisticated and confident performance so far. Nevertheless, she sounded like a talented amateur, as if she had some vocal talent, but maybe little or no education and certainly no experience as a professional singer.

Guesses: Nicole is still thinking about Jamie Lynn Spears for make-up and famous family clues, but Ken continues to suspect that Ladybug does not even like Lindsay Lohan herself. Does that mean that he is right, or is this another clue?

However, the hint born into a famous family does not help, and Jenny still thinks that this could be Paris Jackson (and we got a Peter Pan) A reference to this week that could point to Neverland.

The latest hint was an "All Access" golf car, and Ladybug was not afraid to get mud on her ties. But is it real? In any case, Twitter was just as lost as everyone else.

FLOWER

Flower is an effortless old soul singer with an incredible range and a distinctly iconic heritage. This is the legend for this season, someone who's probably been around for decades and just makes it look so easy. She does not even have to move; she commands this level.

Guesses: Ken is referring to Björk, but we believe that mentioning the "Oh So Quiet" hint package was a mistake to his advantage. But it is the voice that pushed Robin to Patti LaBelle, while Jenny believed that the hints for the kitchen could be Anita Baker.

Triumph gave Jennifer Holliday a guess, but Twitter is fully on board and ringing the LaBelle train quite passionately.

TREE

Tree may not consider her a great singer, but she's definitely solid. She records great songs and really makes them her own. Her stage presence and performance may be lacking a bit (though she definitely dug up the way the trees swing, but she does have real blows).

Guesses: The latest "girl in school" still kept us in touch with Zooey Deschanel, though we're not sure we've ever heard her sign with such force. But this is the show to light a new page of you Sedaris, while Jenny thought about Molly Shannon and Cheri Oteri (which is much shorter than Tree). Ken thought Lauren Graham before any hint of soup knocked everyone over.

But Zooey shared soup recipes and soup ads so we can still feel pretty good about our guess. She is also known as a singer for "Elf" once a year. However, Ana Gasteyer (of "SNL" and "A Christmas Story Live!") Takes an excellent lead on online guesswork, there are still some uncertainties.
