5G mobile phones, foldable designs and multiple cameras will lead the 2019 Mobile World Congress

Samsung will have already announced the Galaxy S10 before MWC – the world's largest mobile show – ever started. But, note my words, this is going to be an exciting and exciting show, and Samsung will not fail to showcase the Galaxy S10 phones and everything it announces just before Mobile World will showcase as a platform for Congress 2019 ,

Samsung will not be alone. Rumors suggest that Huawei, the world's second-largest smartphone maker after Samsung, will present its first foldable phone. LG, Nokia, Oppo and Xiaomi will also be making their mark at this year's Barcelona Confab.

What makes this year's MWC even more important than last year's show is the energy behind three extremely strong trends that have the potential to define a decade of mobile phones: foldable designs, 5G data speed, and amazingly complex photography a wealth of rear view cameras. While smartphone sales stagnated across the smartphone world the products and news announced on MWC provide a glimmer of hope for the revival of one of the fastest growing industries in the world.

Here are the phones and brands We expect to take on this challenge.

Samsung

Samsung Press Conference : February 20, 11 pm PT / 14 pm ET, San Francisco
Samsung MWC booth opened : February 25 in Barcelona

Yes, Samsung is already bringing the Galaxy S10 and possibly a whole range of other phones and devices to market. But the king of the hill will take the opportunity to go big with his stall and show off all his fun new toys. Especially if we really see a Galaxy S10e in Banana Yellow .

While the world's largest phone manufacturer is not holding a press conference, my money for Samsung is some money saving a few demo surprises for MWC. – and I only speculate here – for example quite a few for the upcoming foldable phone …?

Oppo Press Conference : February 23, 2:00 pm CET / 8:00 pm ET 5:00 pm PT

The Chinese brand Oppo brought us the showstop Find X in 2018, so we hope for a similar idea. If you believe the rumors, Oppo goes for the Oppo F11 Pro, an all-screen phone with a 48-megapixel camera sticking out of the body, and excellent shots in low light. It looks like it has this stunning gradient design on the back.

Xiaomi

Number of phones likely : 2-3
Xiaomi News Conference : February 24, 10:30 am CET / 4:30 pm ET / 1:30 pm PT

Xiaomi stole some of Samsung's foldable phone thieves when a video was posted that shook up his unique foldable phone design. We can only hope that this stands for MWC on Xiaomi's plate.

However, the flagship Xiaomi Mi 9 also leaps in the corridors of conjectures. Xiaomi has taken the opportunity at MWC to launch this phone line before its launch, so the announcement is obvious. Xiaomi usually makes a higher version of his Mi phones, either a Pro model or a special edition.

Huawei Press Conference : February 24, 4 pm CET / 10 pm ET / 7 pm PT
Honor Press Conference : 26 February, 4:00 pm CET / 10:00 am ET / 7:00 am PT

Huawei told us in so many words that in February, it plans to have a foldable phone with 5G support, possibly unifying the main trends of 2019 in a single case – probably ridiculously expensive – device. This would be a tremendous moment for the besieged # 2 smartphone brand and a chance for Samsung, whose folding phone is expected a few days ahead of the Huawei press conference in San Francisco.

Huawei is hoping to overtake Samsung as the world's leading smartphone brand by the end of 2020.

Honor, a Huawei offshoot that the company has been trying to train as its own brand for years, is going to be a party. "A midprice Honor 11 is likely to come in. This phone would follow the eye-catching Honor View 20 a surprisingly good 48 megapixel camera is equipped for a midrange driver.

Nokia / HMD

Number of phones likely : 1-2
Nokia phones press conference : February 24, 4 pm CET / 10 am ET / 7 pm PT

We only expect a Nokia phone from HMD, the company that licenses the name Nokia, but the one we believe we would get it would be a doozy.

According to a rendering posted by frequent Twitter fan Evan Blass, the Nokia 9 PureView will have five cameras on the back, use Zeiss camera technology and run Android One, the "pure" version of Android, the Google with Ger manufacturers. 19659009] It is also possible that HMD will launch the third year of release of a callback feature phone (also known as a "mute phone") to the delight of nostalgic types everywhere. The Nokia 8110 "Banana Phone" and the Nokia Supercheap 2017 3310 of 2017 have virtually won MWC in their respective years.

LG

LG was not shy when LG announced its own LG G8 ThinQ phone in front of the MCW, equipped with a 3D front camera that unlocks the phone like the iPhone XS and iPhone X before.

The G8 is also expected to have a second screen case attachment, CNET reported.

We do not know much more about the LG G8 or whether LG will also show or tease a foldable phone like so many others. However, we already believe that LG could announce a 5G device.

It is also known that the manufacturer of mobile phones breaks through mid-rangers such as the LG X Power, so there is a chance that such a phone will celebrate its premiere.

Sony

Sony press conference : February 25, 8:30 am CET / 2:30 pm ET / 11:30 pm PT (February 24)

Rumors indicate that the Sony Xperia X4 is the successor of last year's Xperia X3. We can look for brave camera claims here, including improvements to slow motion videos.

It's unlikely that we'll see Sony's 5G phone so soon. The company does not want to rush a product that will not buy the majority of phone buyers in 2019, said Sony Mobile's marketing vice president Don Mesa, told Digital Trends in January. However, Sony often displays a handful of mid-range models alongside its top-of-the-range device.

OnePlus may not be able to launch OnePlus 7 at MWC, as the OnePlus 6T just came out, but we were able to see the first 5G phone.

OnePlus does not hold a press conference at MWC, but it's on the ground. Chances are that they will support carrier partners such as the British carrier EE, which announced last December that a [560OnePlusphone would be the first. It is very likely that the phone will appear at MWC.
