The National Disaster Response Force and Navy launched a rescue operation after authorities warned passengers against moving. The first group of 150 passengers was rescued after the train had stranded for nine hours in the area about 90 kilometers from Mumbai, leaving Mumbai at around 8:15 pm Friday before getting stuck at 3 am on Saturday.
