ST. LOUIS, Missouri (WILX) – Officials say one eight-year-old was killed and three others shot dead after attending a football jamboree at a high school in St. Louis.
According to police, students from some schools in Soldan High School gathered for Friday night's celebration.
At 7:30 on Friday night, the police responded to a brawl with about 100 students.
Half an hour later, when officials cleared the area, a call came in a block away.
St. Louis Police says one adult, two teenagers and the little girl were shot.
"Just the idea that a family event like this … just like affected families and it's just too bad people do not respect others." said boss John W. Hayden.
Both of the teenagers are reported to be in stable condition.
The woman also shot in the incident is reported to be in critical but stable condition.
