Somebody should better raise the alarm at Firehouse 118, as a spin-off of 9-1-1 officially comes to Fox.
The network has ordered the series 9-1-1: Lone Star an offshoot with Rob Lowe, has learned TVLine.
Set in Texas, 9-1-1: Lone Star Lowe will play as a sophisticated New York policeman who moves to Austin with his son. There he must try to save those who are most vulnerable to solve the problems in his own life.
Lowe will also act as executive producer at the spin-off, along with 9-1-1 co-creators Ryan Murphy, Brad Falchuk and Tim Minear.

Lowe was most recently a co-star in CBS 'medical drama Code Black which was canceled after three seasons. His TV credits also include The Grinder and Parks and Recreation and he moderates the Fox Game Show Mental Samurai .
9-1- 1: Lone Star will debut in the 2019-20 season. Fox's full schedule will be announced on Monday, May 13, ahead of the New York City network's Upfront presentation.
