If you have delayed the tidying up of the house, let this serve as an incentive.
Harold and Tina Ehrenberg, a couple from Mandeville, Louisiana, admitted to Thanksgiving guests when they found a lottery ticket they had bought months ago. It turned out to be worth $ 1.8 million.
"We have a family coming to town for Thanksgiving, so I cleaned up the house and found some lottery tickets on my bedside table that we did not check," said Tina Ehrenberg of a statement published by the Louisiana lottery ,
It's good that the couple found the ticket when they found it. The draw took place on June 6th. They had the only winning ticket.
Had they waited another two weeks, they would have gotten a zipper; The window to claim the price – 180 days – would have closed.
The couple said that they could not believe their luck.
"I've been calling the winning numbers hotline over and over again," said Tina Ehrenberg. Harold Ehrenberg added: "We checked the numbers again and again!"
After tax, the couple took home $ 1.2 million to retire.
"We do not have any plans for shopping Any crazy or big trips," said Tina Ehrenberg.
"The most fun," her husband added, "will be to cash that check. "
