Nearly five months have passed since Infinity War premiered, and Disney's creation is probably the biggest movie of the year when it comes to buzz. Five months after the movie debuted and people are still talking about the movie, they try to guess what's going to happen next and how to revive the fallen heroes. We have much evidence that many of the dead heroes will at least appear in Avengers 4 regardless of whether they are revived or not. And we also have a pretty good idea of how this will happen: time travel.
There are two ways to travel through time in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, including the Timeline that Thanos currently has and the Quantum Realm. This has time swirls. All the theories we've seen are based on one or the other or mix the two time travel options. But it looks as if the Quantum Realm will star in Avengers 4 and in other films. And we know that thanks to a recent Ryan Seacrest interview with Michael Douglas (about ComicBook ), who plays Hank Pym in the Ant-Man movies.
Douglas said the Quantum Realm is "the key" to Avengers 4 and other MCU films. "Right, right, that's absolutely right," he said when asked if Ant-Man 2 is directly related to Avengers 4
. "I mean, all of them ̵
Douglas' spoiler is massive, but not surprising, considering what we've learned in the last few weeks. A leak told us that all surviving Avengers will wear matching uniforms that resemble the special costume Pym wore when searching for Janet in Quantum Realm.
We also learned that the next chapter in the MCU was five years after the events in Infinity War could take place. One of the reasons for this is that Scott Lang has to find his way out of the quantum realm and somehow land in the present or in the near future. Also, it might take a while to find a way to access the quantum realm (the costumes?) And figure out how to navigate through the vortices to get to specific timeframes.
After all, we know that quantum is a densely populated world where things can be dangerous. In this universe there are clever creatures and cities (pictured above) that could facilitate or prevent the journey.
November is almost here and we are approaching the day the first Avengers 4 trailer – and hopefully its title – will be released. Once this trailer has arrived, we will wait for any quantum realm or time travel that Marvel may have shared.
