For months we hear rumors about a new Nvidia Shield with Android TV. Now it has been confirmed that there is a new Nvidia shield codenamed " mdarcy".
Android TV rumors brought the message for the first time after they became a device in the Google Play Console codenamed " mdarcy .
From what we know very little, nothing changes with this Nvidia Shield. All specifications found online are identical to those of the current Nvidia Shield, with the exception of an updated Tegra X1 processor, called the Tegra X1 " T210 B01" instead of the Tegra X1 " A2" [19459005aufgeführtist] currently being used.
These documents appear to be a minor update to Nvidia Shield. However, this can be any wildcard data that will be updated at a later time. Nvidia and other companies have in the past listed incorrect information about a new device until they are ready to release it.
It's also not uncommon for a company with a long-running device like Nvidia Shield to update a processor without making a big announcement about the change.
