According to state news agency Xinhua, the US parcel delivery company FedEx Corp violated the law by not shipping goods of the technology company Huawei to the recipients.
China's investigation into FedEx came after the US put Huawei on an "entity list" preventing US suppliers from supplying the company. Xinhua reported.
Initially, FedEx attributed the failed deliveries to an "operating fault," but the authorities found that the statement "did not correspond to reality," Xinhua said.
"The investigation found other evidence that FedEx violated laws and regulations," Xinhua said.
FedEx did not respond to an email request for comments.
