According to reports, the premature baby of a Chicago woman who was hit by a truck died
According to reports, a premature baby died after her mother had been hit by a truck and killed in Chicago, turning left and allegedly not seen on the crosswalk.
She was nailed under the truck; Emergency crews removed her from the scene.

Doctors were able to deliver the baby, as WGN reported.
The girl had been in a neonatal intensive care unit.
The medical examiner's office in Cook County announced that the baby had died on Saturday morning.
The truck driver, a 67-year-old suburban man, was quoted as saying that he had not yielded to a pedestrian on a zebra crossing, according to the Sun-Times. Police said.
