ATLANTA (WXIA) – A Chicago-based Chicago gang is accused of planning Delta's SkyBonus mileage program worth 42 million points – a value of $ 1.75 million, by fraudulently scoring points to a relative's fertility center forwards.
US attorney Byung J. "BJay" Pak announced on Friday the indictment of Gennady Podolsky, a US citizen from the Ukraine who runs a travel business in Chicago.
The federal indictment claims that Podolsky will book travelers through his legitimate business, Vega International Travel Services, Inc., but claims the points on these trips for an account linked to his family member's fertility center.

SkyBonus is the business program of Delta that complies with the single SkyMiles program.
The US Attorney General has not set out how Podo's lsky's plan was discovered.
"Podolsky used his knowledge of the travel industry to take advantage of his travel agency clients," said Pak. "His access is said to have exploited Delta Airlines' frequent flyer program and illegally collected millions of SkyBonus points worth more than $ 1.75 million."
