NEW YORK (AP) – A playful cat who broke loose at New York's Kennedy Airport was arrested after more than a week.
WABC-TV reports that Pepper, the cat, was lured out of jail hiding early Saturday.
Pepper came home from her owner on April 20 as they prepared for a flight to China.
The owner moved to China for a new job and had to leave without Pepper.
On Saturday, the officer in charge of the rescue took the help of a friend of Pepper's owner, who called Pepper with her Mandarin name and lured her with food. The policeman and friend then grabbed Pepper.
The friend will be responsible to get Pepper to the owner.
