After a week at JFK Airport, a strange cat was captured

A playful cat, who broke away at New York's John F. Kennedy Airport, was arrested after more than a week of capture.

WABC-TV reports that Pepper's cat had been lured out of hiding on early Saturday [19659005] CAT MISSES FLIGHT TO FLIGHT CARRIER AT INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT JOHN F. KENNEDY

Pepper returned from her owner on April 20 as they prepared for a flight to China.

The owner moved to China for a new job without Pepper, if the authorities could not locate the file before departure.

Pepper was spotted several times in non-public areas, but escaped capture.

On Saturday, the officer in charge of the rescue operation called in the help of a friend of Pepper's owner, who called Pepper for her Mandarin name and lured her with food. The officer and friend then grabbed Pepper.
