After seeing Ruby Hale overwhelmed by Gravitonium last week, Phil Coulson has a better plan for the mysterious substance: shoot him in the sun. When the gravitonium is destroyed, no one can use it to destroy the world. His team has even devised a plan for doing so (hurl the zephyr around the planet and fire the stuff in the sun), but unfortunately they are distracted by the fact that they still have not discussed it, what happened to Ruby Hale. Yo-Yo defends her decision to kill the girl who called herself Destroyer of the Worlds, but her teammates are still not happy about it and think that she was too much motivated by revenge for losing her arms. FitzSimmons, who actually saw Ruby under the influence of gravitonium, understands her, but Daisy is still angry because Yo-Yo disobeyed her orders. Any leader she does, huh?
After all the fun of arguing, Coulson checks in Talbot, who has been stored in a cell for a while. He wants to know why Talbot brought Robin to the lighthouse control box last week. The poor Talbot brain is a mess today, but eventually he remembers the important information: The control box can function as a beacon. Sure, there will soon be a huge alien ship in the sky, commanded by Hale's alien friend from the Confederacy.
Fans of the Marvel Cinematic Universe surely know that this is not the only massive alien ship to appear in the sky. In fact, Avengers: Infinity War gets a small nod during this episode. After the big quarrel, Daisy leaves the lighthouse to pursue a trail of extending Coulson's life. She meets with Mack's old friend Tony "Candyman" Caine. While talking about aliens, Caine asks, "Have you seen all the strange things that happen in New York?" Daisy replies that she "can not see the news, it drives me crazy." If she had, she would have known that aliens far more sinister than these guys have recently landed in Doctor Strange's neighborhood in Manhattan. Now I'll shut up because it's basically impossible to talk about Infinity War without spoiling it, but the point is, Caine once had the last sample of "Centipede Serum" John Garrett used to stay alive. Daisy wants to help Coulson, but unfortunately he lacks an important healing component. It is referred to a single word Caine can not find on any map. But Daisy knows better than anyone that this is not a place. The word is "Jiaying" ( Abstract follows on the next page )
