Alabama's offensive is terribly good this season, as is quarterback Tua Tagovailoa. It's not about the schedule. Tagovailoa's first six games, which led to another victory against Missouri in the seventh week, likened them to the six best games of various Heisman victors .
Alabama with a good attack is not surprising. What's surprising is how fast the tide is when they kick their opponents' buttocks. There is no slow start for this tide attack. Picking up 30 points in the first half against Mizzou is the closest for anyone considering a tide start to be "sluggish".
Alabama scores points reliably on his first trip. Here's how fast.
Louisville: It took 3:05 and Bama scored in the seventh game of the game.
This seven-play, 65-yard drive quickly moved the field and into the end zone to start the season.
. 2 Arkansas State: It took 1:41, and Bama met in the fifth game of the game.
Five games, 75 yards. No big deal.
. 3 Ole Miss: It took 59 seconds on Bama's first ride of the game.
Ole Miss got the ball first and scored on his first game of the game. The rebels kicked it to Tide, who hit the game in the third offensive game.
This came into play a total of 1:21.
. 4 Texas A & M: It took eight seconds on Bama's first ride of the game.
Texas A & M got the ball first and went on to throw a tapping two games into the game. Bama wasted little time getting the aggies to pay for it.
. 5 UL Lafayette: It took 3:35 and Bama hit the eighth game of the game.
This was by run length (72), plays, and time fell the longest opening race of the season for Alabama. That must count for the Ragin Cajuns, I think.
. 6 Arkansas: It took 21 seconds and Bama scored in the first game of the match.
And it's even funnier in the stationary camera angle that ESPN had to use because of the harsh weather. (The catch passes around the 25 yard line.)
7. Missouri: It took 23 seconds, and Bama met in the second game of the game.
81 yards, to the end zone.

On average, all together:
That's 3 , 8 games and 1:27 for each opening race.
One factor that helps affect the game is what happens before the opening blow.
When Bama wins the toss, Tide takes the ball almost every time. The Tide have won the pitch in 5-7 games and voted to receive in four of these games. Many teams are actually moving, but Nick Saban likes to take the ball if he can.
"I always want the wind in the fourth quarter when the wind in the game is significant," he said. "If you postpone, you may not have the opportunity to do that because you have to take the ball in the second half and you'll choose which direction to step in. If that's the case, I'd start the game rather poorly and have a better chance of ending it in your favor with the wind factor than on the other side. "
So, throw against the tide when you pick up or win and pick you up this season, you're guaranteed to get in a 7 -0 hole start.
But the biggest factor, of course, is the tide's tide (and the express train).
