The eight markets selected for the opening season of XFL 2.0 seem to have inadvertently revealed themselves a few days early.

Announcing Date The eight markets planned for this Wednesday were reportedly posted on the XFL League Contact page, where Madatory.com discovered them. This contact page no longer shows this information out of what I could see, but here's what Mandatory saw there last night: Dallas, TX
Houston, TX
Los Angeles, CA
New York, NY
St. Louis, MO
Seattle, WA
Tampa Bay, FL
Washington, DC

Each of the eight markets selected for the second attempt by XFL, h Old NFL franchise for several years. In fact, all but one market are currently an NFL team. The first major XFL attack in 2001 brought teams in Birmingham, Orlando, Las Vegas and Memphis in addition to the NFL markets Chicago, Los Angeles, New York and San Francisco. The league lasted only one season, but caught the attention of many football fans who enjoyed some unconventional rules, such as playing football. For example, if the football is confronted with a dice and the teams are not allowed to score extra points after touchdowns, only two point conversions are made.

The new XFL is expected to begin its opening season in 2020, one year after the launch of the new Alliance of American Football in 2019.
