We have a top-notch new genre show coming to stream this month, some interesting originals outside of it, and some awesome TV shows and movie series that you're sure to visit again. So, what's the streaming for this month?
Netflix's biggest rollout is most likely the comic-based Umbrella Academy series featuring their X-Men -sque, punk-rock story. The streaming service also drops its original horror thriller Velvet Buzzsaw which seems to be an artistic killer movie. Netflix strengthens his horror with the back catalog of Jaws .
Hulu does not have much in the originals this month (apart from a new episode of the horror anthology Into the Dark), but makes it better in volume. The second season of FX's Legion comes with the two original films Mortal Kombat for streaming service. Hulu also has some deep cuts such as Deep Blue Sea, Hellboy II: The Golden Army, The Quiet Ones and Archer: Danger Island .
The lineup of Amazon is probably a bit thin, but there is a heavy blow: The third season of the Expanse fresh from their original run on SYFY. Amazon is producing the fourth season of the show, which is a great opportunity for catching up.
Take a look at our complete overview below and let us know what you will love.
The Jaws Catalog : You need a bigger boat. Or, TV? The Jaws catalog goes to Netflix and will provide the most frightening thrill. We all miss the summer. So what better way to defeat the cold than to think of all the deadly things you can find on the beach?
Velvet Buzzsaw : This freaky Netflix original movie star, Jake Gyllenhaal, is reunited with Dan, 1945 Nightcrawler director. It's basically a horror satire, framed around the world of high-class art with some deadly, vaguely supernatural twists. The reviews were a bit mixed, but the movie certainly offers some interesting ideas and striking pictures.
The Umbrella Academy : If you are looking for a new favorite show in February, this seems to be an early candidate. Based on the comic of the same name, the series essentially X-Men is a bit much funnier and wilder. The early trailer looks good and the concept goes well with the binge format. This will definitely be one.

HULU HIGHLIGHTS
Mortal Kombat Films : These video game adaptations were quite stackable in the 1990s – and now they are again available in all their deadly splendor. Sure, they probably are not feeling so good, but they still cause a bloody nostalgic trump.
Into the Dark : Hulu's horror anthology seems to be bringing a scary new story to Valentine's Day. If you're looking for something to fill the gap between the new Black Mirror and Jordan Peele's upcoming Twilight Zone reboot, you could do a lot worse.
Legion (Season 2) : The ambitious, trippy high-concept comic book series by FX only got better in her second season. The world grew a bit bigger and the long-term story finally began to focus. The series pushes the boundaries of the comic book's possibilities, and if you missed it the first time, it's the perfect time to catch up.

The Matrix Trilogy : The first movie is a descendant classic, but it's the other two films that are usually forgotten when you talk about the favorites of all time. With Amazon competing on all three films, this could be an interesting opportunity to rethink the trilogy with new eyes. Besides, this action is still hard to beat.
