Alabama landed its seventh deployment in April when ESPN 300 offensive lineman Amari Kight announced his decision to join the Alabama recruits on Sunday. Kight is number 43 in the general classification and selected among others the Tide over Auburn, Georgia, LSU and Oklahoma.

Kight, a 6-foot-7, 310-pound device from Alabaster, Alabama, gives Alabama six top-100 leaderboard commitments and three ESPN 300 offensive line commits in the class. He joins offensive attack Pierce Quick, the No. 2 tackle in the class, as well as Tanner Bowles. Notable about this class for the Tide is that on April 20 of last year the coaching staff had only three total commitments. They now have a total of 1
Texas A & M and Florida State are directly behind the Tide with eight ESPN-300 interested parties on board, followed by Georgia, Oklahoma and Michigan with seven each
