An amber alert was canceled in Indiana just over an hour after its release on early Thursday because three small children were reported missing and classified as "in extreme danger."

Indiana police issued an alarm at 6:50 am CST on behalf of the Sturgis Police Department in Sturgis, Michigan, just hours after an Amber Alert was issued to the children in Michgan ,
The warning was for three children: 4-year-old Matteo Nieves, 5-year-old girl Chelsey Lopez and 2-year-old Aldo Cruz, according to police, who had all three last seen on Wednesday
Authorities said Matteo was last seen wearing a blue T-shirt and red shorts. Chelsey was last seen in a pink T-shirt and blue pajama bottoms, the officials said, and Aldo was in a blue T-shirt and a diaper.
The police said the suspect was 37-year-old Fernando Cruz, who stands there 5 feet 8 inches tall and weighs about 1
Cruz drives a black 2009 Chevy Traverse with the Michigan license plate DWH9204
