Police raved through Bridgeton City Park on Friday morning, searching in groups for a 5-year-old girl who the authorities claim has been kidnapped by a man when he played there earlier this week.
The Dulce Maria Alavez localization reward has been raised to $ 30,000 through donations from the FBI, New Jersey State Police, Cumberland County Procuratorate, and local businesses.
Dulce played in the park shortly before 5pm. With her 3-year-old brother Monday, when she disappeared, the authorities announced earlier this week.
Her mother was sitting with an 8-year-old relative in a car just 30 meters away when a fair-skinned, possibly Spanish, man lured Dulce to a red van with a sliding door, a police witness said Tuesday.
An Amber Alert was issued on Tuesday night after the witness told the police what had happened. He found that the suspect also threw the ice of Dulces brother to the ground before he lured away his sister.
It is unclear what prompted the police to search the park on Friday.
