American Airlines Flight 2446: Passenger camouflaged, removed from the plane in Miami



MIAMI – A recalcitrant passenger was removed from a Miami to Chicago flight after being brought to authorities by Miami-Dade Police. CBS Miami reports that another passenger on the plane posted the video of the incident on Twitter.

According to American Airlines, there was one "Disagreement" between Jacob Garcia and another passenger while Flight 2446 was still at the gate of Miami International Airport. [19659006] The "disagreement" according to the affidavit of arrest began when Garcia inappropriately touched a female passenger without her permission.

Garcia was transferred to another location, but he started shouting and insulting the female passenger and her friend

When flight attendants asked Garcia to get off the plane, he refused.

According to the airline, the crew followed the procedure and began with the removal.

He was arrested and charged with, inter alia, Battery, disorderly Conduct and Resisting Officer.

The plane left an hour too late.

Sunday night there was a disagreement between two passengers on American Airlines Flight 2446 from Miami to Chicago O'Hare. The plane was still at the gate in Miami and the adjoining passenger was asked by our team members from Miami to split up and he refused. In accordance with our procedures, American began the process of moving the entire aircraft. During this process, a physical altercation took place between the same two passengers. Once the police were in the plane, the passenger became belligerent with the Miami-Dade Police Department officers. The same passenger was subsequently arrested by the law enforcement agency. We will work with the Miami-Dade Police Department on this matter. The flight, which should start at 21.30 clock. ET, departure at 10:34 ET with all other passengers.
