American Airlines has confirmed to Fox News that the airline is back after reporting a nationwide ground-stop due to a system failure.

The problem began when the main carrier lost connection to one of its data centers, said American Airlines spokesman.
Twitter users reported that all flights were canceled by American Airlines at around 2pm. At 14:50, the plane announced that the system was back in service and all flights had resumed.
American Airlines issued a statement to Fox News:
"American Airlines had a short connectivity problem with one of their data centers, which has now been resolved, we apologize to our customers for the inconvenience, and all operations return to normal back. "
