Following their performances in the quarter-finals this week, the judges faced 12 acts on Wednesday in the wake of America's Got Talent of which only seven were sent to the next round.
Vocal group GFORCE, Impressionist Greg Morton, singer Carmen Carter, drills dance team Emerald Belles, singer / guitarist Sophie Pecora, acrobatic trio Messoudi Brothers, vocal group Voices of Service, singer Ansley Burns, black light painter Alex Dowis , the singer Luke Islam, the perilous group Bir Khalsa and the singer / pianist Kodi Lee were all on the block this week and each fought for a coveted place in the semifinals of the 14th season.
So, who was sent packing on Wednesday? Let's get to the results … During the evening, the judges said goodbye to the following three acts: Carmen Carter, GFORCE and Bir Khalsa.
As acts in places 7, 8 and 9, Ansley Burns, Emerald Belles and Sophie Pecora were all qualified for this week's Dunkin & Save; ("These acts are facing their worst nightmare," Terry Crews pleaded. "Do something about it, America!") Voters decided to … rescue Ansley!
