The performer and two members of his circle were arrested on 3 July following a dispute in the Swedish capital on 30 June. David Rispers and Bladimir Corniel – attacked the victim by kicking and beating with all or part of a glass bottle while lying on the floor.
A $ AP Rocky, who did not plead guilty to the charges against him, argued that the trio were simply defending themselves.
He does not have to appear in court for Wednesday's decision.
Speaking to CNN, Löfven's spokesman Mikael Lindström said: "The government can not and will not seek to influence the ongoing legal process."
Swedish officials repeatedly stressed that the country's judiciary was "completely independent." and "not taking into account outside pressure from politicians or others".
"Hopefully we will not have to go back to jail or anything like that, that would be crazy," he told the audience at the Real Street Festival – his first public appearance since his release. "It was an unfortunate event and I'm just trying to be blessed."
