After pretty much every Carrier version of the device has received the update, owners of unlocked Samsung Galaxy S9 phones report that Android 9 Pie has begun to grace their devices. The extensive 1.7-gigabyte update also includes Samsung's updated One interface and January January security patch.

According to popular Android findings, carriers often delay OS updates, but that was certainly not the case here – Xfinity, who have T-Mobile, Verizon, Sprint, AT & T and US Cellular versions T9, S9 and S9 + already received all the pie update.

You know the exercise: The update should be automatic, but if it is not already and you are really eager, you can go to Settings> Software Update> Download Updates Manually to initiate it yourself. We have not heard that the update has reached the unlocked S9 +, but if the Carrier versions are something, this will happen sooner than later.
