The OnePlus is the first OnePlus smartphone with a notch design. The smartphone features a 6.2-inch display with FHD + resolution and a 19: 9 aspect ratio. Under the hood, the smartphone runs on the Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 octa-core chipset with 6 or 8 GB of RAM and 64 or 128 or 256 GB of onboard memory without MicroSD card slot for memory expansion.
The smartphone has a dual camera on the back with a 16 MP RGB sensor and a 20 MP low-light sensor. The smartphone features features such as 4K video recording at 60 fps and Super Slow Motion video recording.
The smartphone has a 3,500 mAh Li-ion battery with support for Dash Charing, which can charge the smartphone from 0 to 65% in less than 30 minutes. The smartphone is available in India on Amazon for Rs 35,000 and the price rises to Rs 43,999 for the 8GB of RAM and 256GB of memory variant.
The Android pistachio (Android P) will likely be released in August 2018. The Pixel series of smartphones will be the first set of devices to receive the Android P update, to be followed by OEMs such as Nokia, Moto, and now even the OnePlus offers faster Android OS updates, though the devices run on the custom Oxygen OS.
