Hollywood has channeled the British royal family for their latest, stylish look.
Although she was not one of the celebrities at the royal wedding last month, Angelina Jolie was the definition of elegant chic when she launched the Service of Commemoration and the inauguration of the Most Distinguished Order of St. Michael and St. George in London on the Thursday. The actress and director, 43, chose a Ralph & Russo light gray hooded dress with matching gloves, which she spiced up with a gold brooch and a silver handbag.
It was the trendy fascinator that held locks upside down with her, but they were pulled into a chignon that really radiated great Meghan Markle vibrations.
The ministry was visited by His Royal Highness the Duke of Kent, Grand Master of the Order.
After her royal wedding with Prince Harry, Meghan has opted for off-white nuances (maybe she still loves her bridal looks?) While she's having different Headgear experiments. The newly wed couple wore two of their own Philip Treacy hats – a favorite of Kate Middleton, who quickly became Meghan's fashion brand – for her appearance at Prince Charles & Buckingham Palace's garden party as well as for her Trooping the Color Debut

And Meghan's low bun has become her signature hairstyle. She even opted for a variant for her wedding.
This is hardly Jolie's first brush with kingship. The mother of six children – who stayed with her in London while she shoots Maleficent 2 – was appointed Honorary Dame Commander of the Most Distinguished Order of St. Michael and St. George for extraordinary service to British foreign policy Year 2014. The title is the feminine equivalent of a Knighthood of Honor.
In fact, Jolie wore a similar one outfit to receive the honor as she did in St. Paul's Cathedral has done on Thursday: a pale gray ensemble with gray heels (but no toppers).
