Blizzard Entertainment sees the departure of another long-time managing director. Frank Pearce, co-founder of the company, when it became known as Silicon & Synapse, announced that after 28 years, he decided to deviate from the developer.
Pearce shared the news in a statement posted on Blizzard's website. It does not mean that he moves to another company. Instead, he wants to spend more time outdoors and engage in other passions, such as learning to play the instrument.
Also, Blizzard President J. Allen Brack published a statement on Pearce's farewell to the company, in which, despite everything, he deals with Pearce's role in the fact that he has not played the most public role.
"Like many of us, Frank is an introvert," wrote Brack. "So many of you have not seen much of him in public, nor have you seen the profound implications he has had on Blizzard and culture, but Frank has been here from the beginning to build and expand the foundation and for those behind Blizzard is better because of Frank Pearce. "
Co-founder Mike Morhaime announced his resignation from Blizzard late last year, with Brack assuming his role as President.
