Apple's latest iPad was unveiled in March 2018, followed by two iPad Pro models in October, and it looks like the next tablets are almost here.

8 and Apple Pencil – What will 2019 bring? Apple

It looks like a new iPad or probably more than an iPad is coming to us this spring, after all Apple is one Undertaking

Until it does not.

Leaks and rumors come from many sources, so it's wise to be cautious, but the latest hints come from a flawless source: Apple, here's everything what you need to know ..

Leak 1

A screenshot of the Eurasian Economic Commission. MySmartPrice

At first there was the registration of equipment with the Eurasian Economic Commission. Before selling products, a requirement is known to the countries in which it operates. MySmartPrice noted the documents submitted on Friday, January 25th.

Something similar happened last August, when Apple submitted six model numbers of the Apple Watch to the commission before the clock was announced on September 12. Archiving took place about three weeks before the unveiling.

Only a few details appeared, essentially only model numbers, and these use iOS 12. These numbers, if you are interested, are A2123, A2124, A2126, A2153, A2154 separate page of the register through A2133 and A2152.

Code from the Latest iOS Beta Proposes New iPads and iPods. Steve Troughton-Smith

Then there is not much to do But what we can deduce from that becomes a little clearer when we add the second leak that is available thanks to the beta version of iOS 12.2. This is a story picked up by 9to5Mac and focuses on a tweet from developer Steve Troughton-Smith who searched the software for clues.

There are references to iPad11,1, iPad11,2, iPad11,3 and (you guessed it) iPad11,4. It is assumed that these devices do not have a FaceID.

Then Beta is fascinatingly related to the iPod9.1, and it seems that there are no Face ID or Touch ID on this new model.

So, what does all this mean?

Well, for now, the four iPad references do not mean four new models. It's likely that there will be a full-size iPad, with Wi-Fi and Wi-Fi Plus mobile versions available. These are two of the four iPad references.

It is possible that the 9.7-inch display will be increased to 10 inches thanks to various bezels. Do not expect, however, that the entry-level model has the all-screen front of the Pro Edition iPad.

The other two references almost always point to Wi-Fi and Wi-Fi plus mobile phone variants of a small mini-iPad – the first upgrade of the 7.9-inch display for three and a half years. [19659003] Rumors suggest that this may be a low-cost iPad mini (the current one is more expensive than the entry-level 9.7-inch iPad). In this case, I say that the design fits exactly the iPad mini 4, in my opinion. One chance, however, is that this is not a budget version. In this case, the design may be updated. And I assume that it will be compatible with Apple Pencil, as the current iPad.

As for the new iPod, little is known, although the lack of Face ID is not surprising. Surprising is the lack of Touch ID. If this is correct, this certainly indicates a new design, perhaps a larger display than before, and probably thinner screens on the screen.

However, it is certainly strange that Apple would deliver a new iPod without security except a passcode.

Apple iPad 2018. Apple

Wait, seven codes were registered at the commission, I thought?

Right. This is not surprising since sometimes there are special codes for products that are suitable for different areas. The Commission works in five countries: Russia, Armenia, Belarus, Kazakhstan and Kyrgyzstan, so different versions may be needed.

It should also be noted that the coding system from Apple changes. For Apple Watch, for example, there was one year, depending on size and material, different codes. The next year, a code comprised all materials, aluminum, stainless steel and ceramic, in a specific case size.

In other words, Apple does not want to be predictable.

The invitation of Apple's iPad event 2018 in March last year. Apple

Can we expect an event this spring?

That's what happened in Chicago last March, but it's also possible that the next hardware will simply go on sale without incident, as it did in the spring of 2017.

If there is one event, when will it be?

Apple prefers spring events like this and the last year took place on March 27, 2018. Since the registration has taken place slightly earlier than last year, it may be earlier date this time could come to mind. On the other hand, the company wants to keep its products on the shelves for at least one year between upgrades, so February seems unlikely, but it's possible at any time in March.
