The Eurasian database has recently been hit after hit. Prior to the October 30th Apple event, the Eurasian Economic Competition database has once again posted applications for new Mac models running macOS 10.14. Four of these model identifiers refer to unannounced machines. As discovered by Consomac, the A1932 laptop model was seen in an earlier submission.
The three new Mac models are likely to be related to new versions of the Mac Mini and iMac. We expect a significant specification update for the Mac Mini, which has not received any attention in 1469 days, and at least processor bumps to the rest of the Mac line.

Ming-Chi Kuo reiterated his views on what to expect from the October event yesterday. He predicts minor updates for the MacBook, the iMac, the Mac Mini with minimal external chassis redesign, and a brand new Apple laptop model that is likely to replace the MacBook Air.
The new cheap laptop is still a mystery to the rumor mill tells exactly what the product looks like and how much it will cost. Approximately one expects a 13-Zoll-Retina-Display in the current 12-Zoll-MacBook similar Design, which is however probably not so gossip-thin or small for cost reasons.
Mac updates are of course very welcome, but the star of the show is expected to be iPad updates. The 9.7-inch iPad was updated in early spring, so this event focuses on refurbishing the iPad Pro. The Pro comes in 11-inch and 12.9-inch screen sizes in all new design, with sleek bezels, no home button and face ID.
The tablets will not have a notch, instead the panels will just be thick enough Integrate Face ID's TrueDepth camera system. This still represents a dramatic shrinkage of the aperture compared to current models, dramatically increasing the screen-to-body ratio of the iPads. The smart connector appears to be on the back of the device. We believe that the Lightning port has been replaced by a USB-C port and that there may be a new magnetic attachment for the Apple Pencil. Kuo has even announced the possibility of a mini-iPad mini-update
The Eurasian application describes the new desktop Macs as "Apple Personal Computer" with macOS 10.14 and the model designations A1993, A2115 and A2116. Of course, 9to5Mac will cover all announcements at the event next week, so stay tuned for all the news.
