Warner Bros. takes the DC Extended Universe under water with the release of the upcoming "Aquaman" featuring "Game of Thrones" alum Jason Momoa.
Directed by James Wan, Momoa stars as Arthur Curry, half a human, half-Atlantic man, trapped between two worlds. As the son of the Atlantic kingship and heir to the ocean throne, Aquaman's loyalty is tested when his half-brother Orm (Patrick Wilson) prepares to unify the seven kingdoms and wage war against the sea creatures that threaten the oceans.
Amber Belongs to stars such as Mera, the daughter and future queen of the Xebel, an Atlantean tribe led by King Nereus, played by Dolph Lundgren. Yahya Abdul-Mateen II will portray the Black Manta, a ruthless mercenary treasure hunter and Aquaman's greatest enemy.
Aquaman has the ability to control tides, communicate with other marine life, swim at supersonic speeds, and possess superhuman strength. It seems almost unfair to the bad guys that he gets a trident and a scale armor to top it off.
The film, which features Willem Dafoe and Nicole Kidman, will be filming on December 21st.
