On Friday night, three hours after Kanye West posted an "album" labeled "Lift Yourself" on his website that, together with the weeks of frolicsome Pro Trump tweeting, had much thought that he would really at midnight ET The MC dropped a recent song – "Ye vs. the People", a point-by-point debate about his recent behavior with his friend, veteran rapper T.I. In it, West does some of its most coherent, albeit still contentious and naive, arguments about its pro-Trump stance: "Make America Great Again had a negative reception / I took it, wore it, rocked it, gave it a new direction. .. you've been led with hatred, look, I'm just approaching differently /
Like a gang truce, the first blood shakes the Crip's hand. "
But to his credit, West TI allows plenty of room to also to make his case:
"What will you lose for the point to be proven?", TI Rappen,
"This is stubborn, selfish, stubborn, even for you
You have worn a dusty hat to represent the same views
As white supremacy, man, we expect of you better
We've defied you, homie
Not just to be disappointed, homie
That's why it's important to know which direction you are going now
& # 39 Because everything you have built can be destroyed and torn down. "
The song ends abruptly after West raps: "Alright, TIP, we could rattle it all day, man, why do not we cut it off and let people talk?" – an invitation to further discussion

On Monday, Chicago radio host Ebro Darden said that West's praise for Donald Trump is true during a 30-minute chat over the weekend. Darden's story quickly caught the anger of Twitter, not to mention Kanye's prominent fan base. Since then, Kanye has shown Trump's "Make America Great" brand on social media and said that in a series of philosophical tweets, the world needs more love, not hate.
Next month, Kanye will release a solo album 1, as well as projects with Kid Cudi, Nas, and Teyana Taylor.
