Google's Hangouts messaging platform has been a hot topic in recent days. Google was originally anchored in a report to give Hangouts the ax in 2020. However, a director in charge of the project at Google claims that no such date has been set and that a migration is planned to turn Hangouts (as consumers will know anyway) into meet / chat. Whatever happens in the end, at least it sounds like Hangouts will change in the future. In this sense, we are curious: How many of our readers are still using Google Hangouts?
Try it the way I could, I can not give it up. Too many people I know personally and professionally came to the platform years ago. However, that was in the days when SMS was integrated, as we were just looking for a way to escape Facebook products in the search for a platform-agnotic iMessage clone. Unfortunately, Google has unceremoniously the SMS functionality just before he urged the users on Allo. Of course that went well. And in recent years, the consumer-oriented version of Hangouts has effectively been given life.
Although I will continue to rely on them, many of our readers have long since dropped out on Hangouts ̵
Have you been busy with something else or are you still using Hangouts?
