Arkansas School Shooter killed in frontal crash



CAVE CITY, Ark. – A man who was 11 years old when he and a friend shot and killed four students and one teacher at their middle school in Arkansas was killed in a crash on Saturday.

Drew Grant, who legally changed his name from Andrew Golden died around 9 pm On Saturday after a head-on collision near Cave City, Arkansas

The driver of the other vehicle was also killed in the crash. Three others, two adults and one child, were also injured and taken to a local hospital for treatment. It was not clear from the Arkansas State Police report if the injured passengers were in Grants or the other vehicle.

The other driver killed in the accident, Daniel Petty of Essex, Missouri, hit Grants Honda CRV Head-on in 201

7 after branching off over a centerline, a turn lane and two lanes to the north,

Grant, 33, lived in Jackson, Missouri.

Grant was eleven years old in 1998 when he and a friend, Mitchell Johnson, launched a fire alarm and shot at people as they evacuated Westside Middle School in Jonesboro, Arkansas. The then 13-year-old Grant and Johnson killed four students and a teacher.
