West Virginia MPs searched on Thursday for one in four people who entered an inactive coal mine earlier this month, causing a daylong rescue Sheriffs said in a statement that they had arrest warrants against Eddie Williams Jr., who is being charged without breaking, conspiring and giving the law enforcement false information.
Williams and three others, Kayla Williams, Cody Beverly, and Erica Treadway, entered the Rock House Powelltone mine in Clear Creek before being reported missing on December 8.

They were rescued on December 12, and one of them 's mother said she believed they had entered the mine to steal copper.
Beverly and Treadway, in interviews after they were rescued and denied that they had gone to the mine to search for copper, claiming they were only researching there.
The sheriff's office said an investigation against Williams, Beverly and Treadway will continue Regardless of motivation, a sheriff's spokesman said.
The sheriff's office failed to provide details of the criminal case if it was reached late Thursday night, and an e-mail to the spokesman was not returned immediately.
