An Original Serial Regular Disbanded The CW Arrow
Willa Holland, who has played Thea Queen / Speedy for six seasons, has Greg Berlanti's left behind DC Comics drama. Her latest episode aired on Thursday and saw her character leave the city to lift her father's injustice.

"But we're in our sixth season now, supporting their desire to stretch their legs and pursue other creative possibilities ̵
The letter for Hollands output had been on the wall. Although Holland is still considered the series regulator in the past two seasons, he has played a contractually reduced role. This season, she starred in 10 of the 16 episodes of the series aired this season. In the fifth season, Holland's Thea – Oliver's younger sister – was seen in 14 of his 23 episodes.
Arrow was Holland's longest term so far, having performed in 130 episodes of the Dramamaster produced by Guggenheim. Their credits include Gossip Girl and The OC
Holland's output omits only Amell (Oliver / Arrow), David Ramsey (Diggle / Spartan) and Paul Blackthorne (Detective Lance) as regulars the pilot. (Emily Bett Rickards returned in the first season before being promoted to season two and was not in the pilot).
Arrow, who has begun to show his age, is considered likely in the CW for a seventh season. The cast is in contract renegotiation, as is typical for a show after the sixth season.
Hollands departure follows changes in The CW's fellow DC Comics drama Legends of Tomorrow, said goodbye to the stars Wentworth Miller, Victor Garber and Franz Drameh this season. To fill the void, Matt Ryan will join the fourth season of the show should Legends receive a renewal.
