As Apple Watch discovered the overthrow of USman James Prudenciano from a steep cliff, he saved his life

The US Man's mother has received three messages that her son has had an emergency.

New York:

In another example of why you should wear an Apple Watch while traveling, a man in the US has the credited device to save his life after falling over a steep cliff, and the clock called 911 after she had discovered a heavy fall.

James Prudenciano, 28, and his date Paige Paruso wandered into Hartshorne Woods Park, New Jersey, as they were lost in the forest and fell through fallen leaves and over a steep cliff.

According to a report in News 12 New Jersey, Prudenciano fell into the river in the park and landed on a rock. He suffered three fractures in the back. His date also fell in the river, but was not hurt.

The fall detection feature in the Apple Watch on Prudenciano's wrist detected the heavy fall and automatically dialed the distress call.

"I screamed that I was going to die because I really felt like I was dying, there was no way out for me, I literally said goodbye to him," Prudenciano was quoted as saying.

Prudenciano's mother received three text messages that her son just went through emergency.

According to the police, they were put on a passing boat and taken to a pier from where they were taken to the Meridian Jersey Shore University Medical Center for treatment.

In the Apple Watch series 4 and 5 next-generation accelerometer and gyroscope are more powerful. Custom algorithms use data from both sensors to analyze the wrist's trajectory and impact acceleration so that the Apple Watch can determine if and when a serious fall has occurred and call the emergency services.

If the Apple Watch detects that you were immobilized for one minute, an emergency call will automatically be made and a message will be sent to your emergency contacts with your location. The feature is automatically activated for users over 65 years of age.

A man from the city of Spokane, Washington, USA recently credited Apple Watch with saving his father's life after a bicycle accident that resulted in a major crash. The guard also stated his father's location.

The guard told the location in 91

1 and within 30 minutes, the ambulance took the injured person to the hospital.
