A few weeks ago, it was reported that A $ AP Rocky was living in inhuman conditions while incarcerated in Sweden and appeared on the Internet. A short time later, the Swedish lawyer of Rocky scattered the rumors, and now an official of the facility has talked about the condition of the whole place.
Talking to Billboard on Wednesday (July 24) Anette Skeppar-Forström, who is imprisoned as Deputy Governor in A $ AP Rocky Prison, gives an insight into the living conditions in the place. While saying that she can not talk about an inmate's living conditions, she says the place has cells with a private TV, a desk, and a bed. She also said that inmates have access to books and radios in the facility and are allowed to communicate with other inmates for up to five hours a day.
Their description of the living conditions in the facility is very different from the original reports, claiming that faeces were thrown around freely in the cells and blood was on the floor.
"If someone spills their food, has an accident or injures themselves [in a way] which could cause blood, we will immediately disinfect a professional cleaning company," says Skeppar-Forström.
Rocky has been jailed since his surrender to the Swedish authorities on 2 July because he was in a street brawl with a man in the streets of Stockholm, Sweden on June 30, he acted only for self-defense, but will at least until Thursday behind bars, as the prosecutor's office continues to investigate the case.
