Etrian Odyssey X arrives on Japan's Nintendo 3DS on August 2, and Atlus is not ready to stop. The company is already looking at the future of the series beyond 3DS.
It's a series of dungeon crawler RPGs released by Atlus. Since its launch in 2007, several games have been released. The first three games appeared on the Nintendo DS before the fourth game found its way to the 3DS. Since then, all the games in the series, including remakes and mystery dungeon spinoffs, have been on the 3DS.
Director Shigeo Komori left a message for fans of the Twitter Series . (19659004) Etrian Odyssey X will finally be the tenth entry in the series Etrian Odyssey . The reason we continued the series is due to the fans who played and supported their previous titles. Many Thanks.
As we said at the beginning, Etrian Odyssey X is a culmination of the recent series Etrian Odyssey as well as the last Etrian Odyssey game for 3DS. But of course that means the last "for 3DS". The last title for 3DS is nothing more than an announcement for the beginning of the next stage.
We are now moving quickly to a whole new world for the Etrian Odyssey series that has supported everyone so far. We work hard to realize this passion as quickly and correctly as possible. Please continue to support us.
Below is the new teaser for the future of the series (known as Sekaiju no Meikyuu in Japan).
