Audi announced Thursday that 265,000 vehicles were recalled in the US to fix airbag problems and a loose wheel fairing. The 2016-2018 e-Tron electric SUV and 2017-2019 RS3 cars. A faulty electrical connection can allegedly deactivate the front passenger airbag. From 18 August, dealers will begin replacing an electrical connector.
The second recall concerns SUVs Q5 and SQ5 from 2018 and 2019. A wheel arch cover may fall and potentially hit other vehicles and become a hazard on the road. From 2 August, dealers will secure the wheel arch cover with another bolt and nut.
