The Australian authorities released breathtaking footage of a boy slipping into the gap between a train and the platform on Tuesday.
The 4-year-old is seen in a surveillance video on a crowded platform as he approaches a train door as he suddenly slips through the crack.

The scary incident reportedly occurred in February, but the country's Department of Transportation released footage this week to warn adults to pay special attention to children during summer vacation.

"A split second of concentration could mean the death of a child and we do not want to see that," said Andrew Constance, the Secretary of Transportation.
Children sli pping between train and platform is not uncommon. Last year alone, nearly 70 children at Australian train stations fell through such a gap, according to news broadcasters.
